Sunday is lived in a haze
to wallow and to laze
to get up, aah, so late
to grab a mug of latte

Sunday is a day of peace
time to reflect and pause
to make dosas,for that
added crisp and crunch
and fragrant biryanis
for luxuriant lunch

Sunday is also the day
to clean the closet and cupboard
to scub and wash away
the grime of several days , rushed

Sunday is the day for preparation
an evening for recuperation
